Default looking for a 4l60e

whats the best bet for a 4l60e transmission?

i am currently very interested in the FLP (finish line) transmission. i have tried to get ahold of them today with no luck. any information on them?

basically i bought a transmission from a shop in florida, it was supposed to hold 550 flywheel hp, it messed up with only 289 going through it... the 3/4 gears dont work they slip horribly. so i am doing this right and trying to find a transmission to purchase. i will be having a shop install it and i am trying to have the transmission just ordered by them and delivered to them.

does anyone on here have any suggestions to the best choice for a 460e to hold around 500-650hp? i am hoping to push about 550 when my car is done here soon.

I wouldn't do TCI personally, they are a sponsor here so I won't bash them. I think there are better choices to be had.

that is what i am trying to do. i just want some feedback on what would be my best bet. i like the gearstarttransmissions but they look a tad out of my price range. over 3k is alot higher than what everyone else is charging. are they that much better?

you get what you pay for for the most part when it comes to 4l60's. dont be afraid to spend a little extra dough, especially if your car is a daily driver

Chuck and I went to hot rod drag week today in mich. US 131 drag way. We have a couple of cars running our transmissions that are in the running to win the event. I just got home and read your post. Chuck will return your call tomorrow I have already spoken to him. We always return our calls within one day and also respond to our pms as well. I will not be in tomorrow because I am going to the finals. Once again sorry for not being there but I need a day every now again off. Sorry for the delay! Vince.

These guys stay busy. That's a good thing, it's better then knowing that you can call them any time of any day they would just be sitting around with nothing to do...
