I run a Yank PT4000. It's pretty loose for street use but I have spent countless hours to get it tuned for better driveability and it's pretty good now. I average about 15 mpg on the highway, which is pretty good for this setup.

I see you have a SS4000....I would think that would be a good choice. What gear and cam specs? I would bet a SS3600 would be nice, good driver stall... but you can't beat a PT series for acceleration on a NA setup. If you never plan on running juice, get a PT4000. Faster than a SS3600!

SDB ,I had the SS4000 and I broke it I went with a SS4200 and It just seems to be to much Stall,The SS4000 was better.I was thinking that a SS3800 would put me Right where I wanted to be?My Cam is 244/248 on a 114. My Gear in the rear is 3.73 ....My Motor comes on strong at 4000 ,the general rule is you want to be 200 before that correct?

I'm running a yank pt4000 and it's not too bad on the street. I need a higher stall but use this one for juice.

Depends on your goals. Are you trying to squeak every last bit of ET from your setup, or are you more worried about daily driving?

You need to take in consideration the shift extension as well. A higher shift extension will help keep your motor in the meat of the powerband, instead of the letting it drop below it. My PT4000 has a shift extension of well above 5000 rpms which is nice considering the car shifts at 7000 rpm. I know the SS3800 will 60-ft good, but it has a relatively low shift extension.

Daily Driving is better for me at this point,My Shift points are 6800.From a 45 mph roll my SS4000 really set you back in the seat hard,as to the SS4200 doesnt.....The Shift extension from a 3800 should be ok for a Stroker,I mean it will actually be alittle higher,Right? My SS4200 goes way to high, like blowing thru it,Keeps my rpms to high,5500 Plus.I think my SS4000 was around 5000-5200 .The SS4200 just keeps up to high with 3.73 gears
