Stop wasteing money and buy a Gearstar.
I just bought a Gearstar level 4-4L60E tranny. After I had wasted money having the stock one rebuilt with hardend parts and better servos and rebuilt again and then rebuilt again with a vacuum module only to fail again I bought a Gearstar. These guys might be a little pricey but you get what you pay for. They are endorsed by Yank and the two even put together stall and tranny combos. These guys will work with you and make sure you are satisfied. My 97TA puts down 500RWHP and 560RWTQ and this tranny is not only holding up but asking is that all you got. Don't be like me and rebuild your tranny 2-3 times before you decide try them. One more thing. If they are willing to stand behind them for 12-24 months depending on what level you buy, then they have to know what they are doing or they would go out of business fast.

That is more than my whole Rossler TH400 swap. The cost is one of the main reasons I went A3.
But if you drive your monster HP car more than 3000 miles a year its probably worth it.

I agree. My p.o.s. max evil stage III (with a 700hp rating) lasted for almost 6k pampered miles on my mild cam weekend car. I put a hurting on the stocker from 30k-55k.
I'm praying my FLT outlasts it.
