Yank Pt4000 Guys Come In
Mines been in for a couple weeks and i want to hear from others if they had any problems without a tune. For the first couple days lockup worked. Then I started getting the PO757 code then i started getting locked out of gears and had to shut the car off to get gears back. Now lockup is gone. I pulled the pan the other day fearing the lockup clutch was failing but nothing was found in the pan. I'm REALLY worried now I reset the PCM tonight and still no lockup (no codes as well). I dont think anything is wrong with my trans all the gears are there and its not slipping. I guess im just trying to find out what other PT4000 guys experiences were before getting a tune. Did lockup always work or did some loose it and have to get a full tune for things to work properly. IM STUMPED! HELP!

I think they are running a stock tune. You just can't expect a somewhat loose converter to act the same on a stock tune regardless of the brand. It may possibly be a mechanical problem, but you aren't the first to experience that code and symptoms.
The converter is doing what it was designed to do and the PCM is trying to adjust for what it is seeing as an issue and trying to correct for it.
IMO , if it isn't a mechanical problem (possibly a shift solinoid) then a proper tune is the fix.
Good luck and keep us updated.
