Depends alot on how you drive it , if you use the power you have regular probably not long ,I always try and not fo sales reasons to get people planning a buildup to get a tranny first a foundation since all that power has to go through it on the way to the ground

hey man all i can say is my tranny must like pain , cause it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin... i spin the car to 7k, made over 400rwhp with heads/cam and a ss3600 stall... 11.5 at the track and 1.6 60's all day..bone stock tranny with a 24gwv cooler... my vote is go for it. Just keep up with maintenance, fluids/filter

I have seen stock 4L60E trans last well over 100,000 miles being hammered every weekend on cars with H/C/nitrous.
The only suggestion I can make is keep the shifts down to factory and make your fluid changes regularly. It is hard for anybody to tell when something is going to go or we would all be RICH. Go for it and you will find out.
I do remember a thread about the 4l60e and how much it wil take. It had some real good info on it about RPM's and HP/TQ
