Default Difference in Yank converters?

What's the difference in the "PY" and "SS" models of Yank converters?

So does that mean it's set to hit the stall on spray? So it's tighter than its rating when using it NA?

Basically, I'll be using it on my h/c car with a 150 shot but just occasionally. So really it will get more NA action than N2O action. But I'm sure that on the N2O is where I will need it to be right, since that's when I'll be racing.
So what will the trade-offs be?

I was just taling to Phil about this yesterday. You can't have the best of both world (N/A and spray) with a converter. If you get one loose, it will perform great on the motor, but when you spray on that converter some of the power is going to get eaten up. And just the opposite with a tighter converter. The tight converter won't feel as good N/A but with the added torque of the nitrous it will flash up there where you want it to be. DON'T BE A VAGINA!!! SPRAY IT!!! LOL

I also have a py3600 built for my 4l80e. It too is a little tighter than the ss3600 I had in my 4l60e. Seems to flash right around 3400-3500 also. What kind of shift extension do you have compared to what it is rated at?

I don't know what I'll have. I'm an M6 guy buying parts to go 4L80e.
Should I go bigger on the stall with my G5X3 cam? Maybe a 3800 since the PY is already an N2O converter?
