Probably couldn't hurt... there are plenty of shop reps on here that will probably be able to help. Might be dependant upon milage as to if it's going to hurt anything. I know I love mine.

Makes a noticeable difference in how your car shifts! It is worth the money for it!

thanks guys, thats what i wanted to hear. the car only has about 41,000 miles btw. i just want to put the least amount of stress on the rear end as possible. didnt know if the harder shifts would hurt it.

Are you putting a stall in too? If not, not worth it in my opinion.

it wont hurt the tranny. it'll actually prolong the life of it. although i would recommend getting the servo's upgraded along with an aluminum accumulator kit, and spacer plate. Contact FLP for more info they are the true guru's.

I can't stand an automatic tranny without a shift kit. I love it when it barks the tires going into 2nd. So IMO definitely worth it.

I think you thought he was talking about a shift-kit? A stall definitely won't prolong the life of the tranny, but it also wont lower it unless a transmission cooler isn't used.

^^ oops sorry ya i meant shift kit. HAHA a stall will eat away at the tranny and rear end if they aren't upgraded to take the extra pressure and quickness of the shifts
