trans cooler lines leaking... any thoughts?
okay - so i finished up my 6spd to 4l60e swap yesterday (finally). and i started the car, and the sending line started pissing trans fluid.
it's not the fitting to the trans - it's the line to the fitting...
what could cause that???
has anyone had any experience w/ that kind of situation???
thanks in advance.

i'm using stock 99 trans cooler lines... they don't seem to fit well in the car period... where the lines go into the trans, they seem to want to angle in towards the front of the car a bit, and the lines sit right under the motor mount (touching the underside of the mount).

dude that set-up is SWEET!!! but yea, there'd be a little more work to make it work with using the factory cooler in series with the aftermarket cooler.
regardless that set-up looks awesome... and i'll be it's a hell of a lot easier to work with than those steel lines that don't fit right.

okay i got the car taken care of - it needed a new fitting going into the trans, and the lines needed to be slightly re-bent in a few places.
no leaks - the car runs like a son of a bitch so far.
