Doing a stall....tune?
I am getting ready to have my Yank SS3600, B&M Trans cooler, and Transgo shift kit installed.....is a tune needed afterwards?
I have heard different things from a lot of people. I have heard that torque management needs to be deleted, but is there anything else? Please help...

A tune will be benificail now wether its required or not is a different story , From ou experince it seem some cars you can just put the stall in and all works fine, Another car though will do such things as hit the rev limiter on shifts,Refuse to shift,Set codes for solenoids being stuck on or off, Lower numeracle geared cars seem to have the issue more often because the PCM does not understand the RPM to VSS (speed) differential. The PCM either thinks the gear did not change or that the trans is slipping and sets apropriate codes or goes into limp mode when theres nothing actually wrong,

The specialist is cheaper on labor, but cannot do tuning....
And the tuner is more expensive on labor but will give me a cheaper rate on tuning for having him install it.....
Should I trust the tuner?? or pay the extra for tuning, and have a transmission specialist do the install??
