Bulider in the New Orleans Area
I'm trying to find a reputable shop for a 93 4L60E tranny in a '93 K1500. I want to build it so it can be used in my Camaro if necessary. Anyone know of a good shop? I can also take suggestions on mods for it. I already have a 2600 stall converter ready for this application. Thanks all.

I need a shop that can handle the work, though.
My set up is 500 miles away, so I can't do it myself and I'm not the easiest customer to please.

Performabuilt has some decent feedback on a few of the different forums, so I ordered one from them.
The builders in the area are all scattered, so it would be too much of a pain to limp it over or have it towed. I found a decent shop near the house for the install.
Life can suck when you live in the sticks.

FedEx sucks *****.
Period.
They lost the first transmission sent from Performabuilt and the second they couldn't expedite to arrive on time.
How the **** do these people stay in business?
Props to Performabuilt for trying.
I'll update when I can.

I got it on Tuesday and the install was done just it time for me to leave last night.
With over 500 miles on it, absolutely no problems so far. Let's hope it stays that way.
The mechanic was impressed with the whole kit, so that's reassuring.
I never got to see it.
