I don't know what is up w/ my car, it was fine then suddenly this problem showed up. The car seems to slip bad around town in a stop and go traffic. On the highway, it didn't want to lock up or kick it into overdrive. I got it locked to 45 MPH and it didn't even do that. The Z28 is fine other than this problem. I'm not getting SES light or anything. Is it the shift solenoid?
I have a stock tranny w/ Yank ST 3500 btw.

On top of that its slipping, not like aftermarket stall slipping, its slipping worse. I got the Yank stall tune for shift points, and the lock up @ 45 MPH.
I just recently replaced the fluid on the tranny and the filter a month ago.

Sounds like it may be in limp mode in which case it will start in third gear which will feel similar to slipping badly. You need to have it put on a scanner and look and see whats happening .
