what shifters fit A4 Console Just trying to get an idea what shifter will fit the A4 console.
Am I better off finding a 6-speed console. This will be for a TH-400.
I'm looking at the hurst quarter stick with the pistol grip.

A lot of guys use the A4 console & trim the slot. I was M6 & did this with mt original console:
Sorry for the fuzzy pic, the flash wouldn't work. I got the plastic sheet at a hobby shop, trimmed the console & used small screws on the tabs that hold in the shifter boot & ashtray.

That looks bad ***, and its the exact shifter I want.
I have a 6-speed now but i am swapping for a th-400, i said i would give my 6-speed console with it.

i just fiberglassed the ashtray door in and the pocket at the front for my nitrous switches the actual shifter hole is stock with minor trimming on the ends with a dremil

Thats exactly what I want to do.... Looks sweet...doesnt look like much was trimmed out either???
