Default Will i be satisfied with a 2800 stall?

I'm looking for a good street stall for my SS. The car will be driven 99% on the street with the possibility of going to the track once or twice in it's life. Will a 2800 stall be perfect for the street or should i step up to a 3200?

Is it going to be a daily driver? I would say step it up to a 3200, still streetable but great for the track.

You’ll be disappointed if you go with anything less then a 3200….. won’t notice much of a difference if you go with a 2800. I have the Vigilante 3200-3400 and love it.

Yes it is a DD. Would the yank super stock 3200 be a good choice?

I went with a 3k for starters but its a smaller than stock conveter and they tend to be under rated.

I think you will be happy since you arent going for all out drag racing

The answer to this question varies a lot from one person to another.I have a 3K..While i like it for daily driving, i definately could have gone bigger and it would still be perfectly fine for daily driving...i prolly could have gone with a 3800-4000 and still been fine driving it around everyday. But i have freinds who get in my car..and they cant believe i daily drive it with a 3K stall in it. Which to me..feels just like stock now.

My first was a Yank ST3500 and then I upped to the SS4000. To be honest, city driving was almost identical between the two. All the differences were felt at WOT. My next converter will be a PT4400. And this is 90% street driven.

Go big or go home. I got a 4400 in my car and drive it everywhere and it cuts 1.5x 60fts. The only downfall is i get horrible gas milage
