People follow trends! On this forum Yank and Vigilante are commonly thought of as the only decent choices in converters. If you do some searching you can probably find a group that things Midwest are the ****.

I've used Midwest in the past, their customer service and support is top notch from my experience. My first converter failed from a mistake of mine, but the second suffered a sprag failure. It was probably a freak thing, but I did go with another brand after that. I will say though, there are differences internally when you open them up. You get what you pay for. I was happy with them while I had them, but I wouldn't use them in a high powered or FI/Nitrous set-up IMHO.

i had a midwest for a while, had no complaints about the converter at all, was a 3500 2.2, drove great on the street. stepped up to a 4000 yank and my ets/trap speed have not improved. (but i have only put about 6-8 passes on the yank so i may need more time to experiment with it)
