I have the Zpac in now,But I'm having 2-3 shift problems at WOT.If they are burnt I will call you.I will look at it tomorrow after I finish draining the trans.I might just have to tighten up the clearance........Thanks.........Paul

Well I had over .100 clearance on the 3-4 clutches,Alittle to much.I guess thats why I had 2-3 shift problems.I took it apart and added a thin steel at the bottom and got the clearance to .025 to .030.Hope that works.The ZPac still looked good after 5000mi and some 1/4 mile passes.................Paul

Yes that clearance is aprox what we use with the Zpack , And should do fine however I suggest you use the thin plate between the top backing` plate and the special plate, The apply plate is made as it is for a reason with the groove and you dont want to defeat that , Its part of what keeps the set from coning in high heat, We have had excellent results with the Zpack . Good luck

Thanks Vince.I have another problem,There is no waved plate in the forward clutch,I must Have thrown the old one out.Do I need it,Or can I get away with out it***UPDATE I FOUND IT*** That sucker was hard to spot................Paul
