Do you need special bolts or shims or anything?

That's the one I use here at the shop. Shouldn't need any special bolts. Not sure about the shims... do you run a mid plate or stock mounts?

Thanks for the input guys. These pretty much last forever? Reason I ask is i prly dont need this now, a stock one would work, but i should have a SFI flexplate within the next 3 years. So if they last a very long time misewell get it now and be done.

Thanks for the pic Mightymouse... it reminded me to mention that when TCI's flexplates are installed the paint around all of the mounting holes needs to be removed!

The reason for this is the bolts will loosen up in time, even if they are properly torqued and lock-tite is used.

Looks like all the ones I've installed for quite some time now.

Why do you ask?

tci flexplate is like 193.00 at scoggins-dickey. I had to buy 6 longer bolts than the THREE that Yank provided. (thanks for the tip Mightymouse) It is much beefier than stock. My stocker ovaled every hole that had a bolt thru it
