Default Torque Converter Sugestions

So since my engine grenaded (Pistons in the intake manifold are not good). I have to pull the motor out so while im down there I couldnt think of a better time to drop a converter in. The motor im putting in is a stock rebuilt LT1. The cam is a CC305 (220/230 .510/.510 114) Stock heads for now. I have the 3.23 rear.

Yank SS 3600 or Vig 3200 (which stalls closer to 3600 behind an LT1). Can't go wrong with either.

i hate to bring a thread back from the dead but are you talking Phoenix converter as in this phoenix converter? actually sounds like it has good parts. dont know about the quality of the converter though.

We have a nice budget stall for the LT1 or a billet racer series. Give me a call and I can give you details.
