full bolt ons, cam, small 3400 stall
wanting to upgrade to a 3800...
would i see a difference? or not worth it?? go big or go home? (4k?)
cus i use my car daily, i dont really wanna lose streetability, hence why i hae a small stall now.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.........I'll sell you mine real cheap TCS 4200 2.7STR three years and hasn't missed a beat. Plenty of 1.51 60ft.'s in the heat of summer. I daily drive it, but it's loooooose as hell. I just bought a Circle D 4000 Nitrous friendly converter

FWIW.... I see just as many 4,000 rpm stall converters coming out as I see going in.
Some guys find those to be annoying after a while. My recommendation would be to hang on to your current converter if you do the swap... then if you find the bigger unit is not satisfactory you can swap it out with little expense.
Good Luck either way!

I'm kind of in the same boat, I have a 3500 stall that doesn't flash up to 3500, 60' times are in the high 1.6s. I went back & forth on deciding to change.
I ordered a Vig 3600-3800 & it is going in on Monday. Not only do I think it will 60' better, but I think it might be more effecient & will have better shift extension.
Good luck with the 4k.

I can tell you tomorrow when the car is done. It had a Yank SS3600. It just got a new Yank PT4000. If it's cool out next week, I'll take it to the track and post up. I'm gathering from more experienced people I should see maybe a couple of tenths on my 60', several tenths on ET, and a couple MPH.
The SS3600 is tight ... wanna' feel a much looser converter on the street and achieve better 'roll racing' ability. I think I'm gonna' like this new Pro Thruster 4000.

I know the converter has a 1.5X NA 60" in it I just need more time at the track....(only 3 runs with the new converter)

I got the Vig3600 put in today & I love it!!!! With my set up, it is very tame, looser than what I had before, but it kicks some ***. I can't wait to try it t the track on Saturday!!!
