Default Trailblazer torque converter run hard

I am thinking about a budget Trailblazer torque converter in a street car behind a LS1 has anybody done this mod and run the car hard? I am just wondering how these hold up to a good thrashing.

I sell a quite a few of these, but I do modify them. I have not had any problems that I know of, and they perform great for an economical stall. I sell them for $350 modified to Circle D Specs.

what do you mean real hard? real hard to me is redline neutral drops and dropping it into reverse going 30mph.

We replace the clutch material with a "Spun Wound" from Raybestos, better than the OEM Woven material. We tweak the insides for a little extra stall and STR and then TIG weld for strength. They typically stall 28-3000, and work great for a DD.

No, it only fits an LS1. I do offer a reworked Grand National converter for the LT1's.

They are about a 25-2700. We are on the NW side of Houston. Give me a call for any questions.

Thx.
