Question 224/224 cam install stall converter ??

what happens if you dont install a stall in a 224/224 cam install? what would it hurt?

hurt? nothing. it wont help your e.t.'s either. get a 3200-3600 Vig and you'll be set.

im new to the stall mod. can you explain what it does to make such a differance?

The stall will keep your car in the meaty part of the power band when WOT.

Look at my sig. My car ran that ET w/ stall, full exhaust, 3.42 rear, lid, LS6 intake, free mods and a tune.

i drive my car on the expressway, and around town. will that that effect its drivablity?

Check out the sticky on converters....

there are alot of people on here with big converters that drive there car everyday. just cruising on the interstate you cant even tell its there..

Its just my opinion but personally I think a converter should be one of the first things done on a A4.
its for sure one of the most bang for the buck things you can do

I went with a 4000, I drive it everyday. Long as it locks up and stays locked it should be no problem.

i would most likely go with a 3200 stall with the 224/224 cam would an aluminum flywheel help any? i heard they spin quicker. rpm will jump quick. is that true, would that be a good idea?
