Don't even bother with removing the tq arm. Just unbolt it from the tranny and let it rest against the floor pan. It will go quicker and you won't have to hassel with r and r of it.

Yea having a lift is pretty sweet. Makes things a lot easier. The main reason we got it was for storage but its really nice when wrenching on things to. I think it cost around 1800 shipped and took me about 2days to fully install. The cables and hyd. lines took alittle time and so did drilling (16) 3/4 holes in the concrete for the anchors.

DAY TWO:
-Unbolt torque arm
-Disconnect elect. connectors, vent hose, and cooler lines
-Unbolt starter
-Remove converter to flywheel bolts
-Remove bellhousing bolts
-Pry, wiggle, and shake transmission loose from motor
-Lower transmisson and remove stock converter
Day two went very smooth with the help of a good friend.
Now that my trannys out should I just slap the new converter in and call it good? Or should I have the tranny beefed up alittle bit? Is there any inexpensive things that I should consider upgrading now that the trannys out of the car?

Hey I didnt see that sweet 10th hawk of urs last weekin. Didnt bring it out for cruise nite?? There was a guy from Kansas that brought his 99 30th anniversary WS6 up. He was really cool. If you really want to put a stall in ur hawk I could probably help out.

Seen yers, the 30th, couple black ones, quite a few Camaro's cruisin'.
Yea I have the 'verter, but need to pick up a deep pan & a cooler yet.
I've got a bunch of Comp Cams parts & acessories to do a cam swap one of these days. Still looking for a deal on an oil pump.
Not sure when it'll all get done, ..., Might be winter schedule stuff.
