Default What size stall should I get?

I've been thinking about getting a stall for a while now. I've basically finished all the bolt ons worth doing so I'll probably do the stall next. Just can't decide on what size I should get. Right now I'm thinking of going with like a 3000-3200. Just about everyone who I have told that to has told me to go with something bigger like a 3600. This car is my DD and I really don't want to kill my gas mileage...I hardly ever drive on the highway. I'm pretty happy with my current gas mileage and I don't want it to get too bad. I'm also thinking of maybe supercharging my car in the future. That's another reason I don't want to go too big on the stall. What would you recommend? Thanks for the help.

There are a lot of opinions on stalls for the LS1 cars. It really depends on what you want out of the car. If you want the best times and will put up with more slipping on the street then go 3600+. If you are wanting a nice improvement in your times but don't want to sacrifice gas milage or drive-ability, then go 3000-3200. I sell a lot of both and have a lot of happy customers. If you just want the 3000 I offer an 11" converter for just $350. It is a great street converter and won't hurt the wallet to bad.

im running a vigilante 3200 stall and my car is a daily driver. its really like a 3500ish size stall. it drives very good. i know some guys want a huge stall and all but my car will never see the track, and plus i want something to feel and drive like stock.

Wow...So you were in the 11's with just the stall and a 100 shot? That's pretty impressive. What do you expect to run?
