Not sure if this is a repost, if it is I apologize. The first Corvette ZO6 Carbon Edition is going to be auctioned at Barrett- Jackson.

Arent they only offered in Supersonic or Inferno Orange? Or did they just mean those are additional color choices? I think those are the only colors.

Despite reading the article, i cant see how it isnt a ZR1 with an LS7. While its awesome looking, is there really a market for such a vette, that will surely fall price wise in between the ZR1 and Z06? This just looks like classic "old GM" rebadging **** and trying to sell it as a different car. Am i missing something here? Is this only going to be offered for a year or something?

ZR1 = LS9
Z06 = LS7

I think its a great car... While its true that they are using a lot of off the shelf parts, I see this as great way to combine them.

In my humble opinion, this is the best version of the C6 I've seen yet. More track oriented and less grand touring. If only they would have ditched the "infotainment" crap and bolted in a set of light weight competition bucket seats like some of the "track" edition European sports cars do...
