Yeah...We'll have to see what GM actually brings to the lot next. The next Mustang is really a good move forward for most. The joy of being next is, you have a predetermined benchmark to start. Since they already have a platform out there, it should only need tweaking and the next power provider... LT1 for SS, maybe?? Probably, or something really close.

Given how well they've made the 5th Gen perform, I'm very optimistic for the 6th Gen. They made a heavier Camaro out-perform the Mustang (barely) in every segment.
SS Camaro > GT Mustang
1LE Camaro > Boss Mustang
ZL1 Camaro > GT500
Overall, those come down to the driver, but the Camaro's engineers should really be proud of the work they've done on that 5th Gen. Given the weight and HP of the Camaros vs. Mustangs, on paper, the Mustang should hand the Camaro its ***, but that doesn't happen. If they work half as hard on the 6th Gen, then Camaro sales will continue to lead the way in the pony car races. A big Thank You to Ford though. The improvements to the new Mustang forces GM to re-raise the bar, meaning we all win.

5th gen. is mostly an Aussie creation from Holden and based on their car. The next one will be American again, hopefully they don't screw it up.

I just hope they keep aiming for a well rounded car, instead of the Straight line american stereotypes. The 5th gen camaro really stepped up it's game in the handling/braking dept. Hopefully the 6th gen platform is considerably better than even that.
