Need 2006 Trailblazer SS info.
I would like to put one on order for a daily driver. I just love the fact that theyre awd,ls2 powered,SUV capability, and they get good gas mileage. Ive heard rumors of 13 sec. 1/4 times stock and they should also handle great in the rain or snow with the awd. Whats everyone think about them?
If anyone here as any kind of inside info. on availability and price for an all option SS. You really cant get any info. out of the dealers around here. Also what colors will be available. Anybody with any kind of info. please post. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I think it looks like a promising vehicle, provided they are reasonably priced. Don't really have any info on it that you can't get on here or Chevy's website. I may look into it next time I'm at the dealership.

I found out the colors available will be: black, silver, white and blue. You all may have already known this but i just found out. I really hope the blue is electron blue! That would look awesome. I have no idea yet on price. Im planning on about $45k with all option SS. But thats just my guess. Nothing more.

That sounds pretty straight. As long as i can get an all options SS for under $45k. That would be sweet! Then i can embarrass all the pesky stang gt's with my SUV! Maybe my TA will get a break from all the ricers and stangs! Let my SS handle my light work!

06 Trailblazer pricing is up on www.edmunds.com . Here's a link to the Trailblazer 4WD LT. Just select the B4U SS package and any other options you want and there you go! http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/chev...let*&x=93&y=11

Wow, is that pricing all accurate?
You can base an SS on a LS?
So according to that pricing....
In LS trim...
2WD SS is $31,895. AWD SS is $34,145
And in LT trim...
2WD SS is $34,310. AWD SS is $36,560.
Nice.
Loaded to the max I come up with $45,840

Yeah if that pricing is correct. I think this thing is priced just right! It has a lot of luxury options (like the dvd system, navigation, and so on). This thing has the best of all worlds! Can somebody PLEASE list something that is a drawback because i cant find one. Im just falling in love with this thing! But theres gotta be something that im missing.

Be sure to check out www.trailvoy.com for info. There's a forum specifically for the TB SS. From what they're saying, KBB seems to have acurate prices and one member already ordered his TB SS.
I was going to hold out for the TB SS but couldn't pass up the great deals on '05s and bought an Envoy Denali. I like the interior of the Envoy over the TrailBlazers (I should know, my wife owns a '05 TB EXT), I love the looks of the Denali (even over the TB SS) and the Denali comes with a 5.3. It won't take much to swap it out for an LS2 and have a semi-sleeper.

I talked to some GM people a few months back, and the pricing jives with what they told me. The SS is basically an option package that can be ordered with any Trailblazer. I am thinking 2WD with no options should come in below $30k with employee pricing!

Employee pricing is $29,592.50 for a two wheel drive 1SB package with the "Fun, Sun and Sound" package (XM, Bose, Sunroof). That is looking pretty good to me! My Hawk was almost $2000 more than that, and it was 800 pounds less "stuff".
