You know he'll have a hard time hooking without a slick and that much power. I think the car could run well into the 10's if it had the right tire out back.

I'm here !
As long as the new tires are in I'm picking up the V in the next couple days. The M/t drag Radials had cord showing with less than 2,000 miles. Trying BFG G-Force T/A drag radials 295/35/18 , See how they do.
Time to start dialing it in, See what it takes to get it to hook. That is the only issue on good 1/4 times is getting the feel for it & doing some experimenting with tire pressure, launch control rpm & the KW coilover adjustments.
Oh Yeah, Gotta get me a helmet

Bob, let me know when you are wanting to go to the strip. I'm guessing you would go to ORP or US41. I'm putting a 100 shot on the V in the next couple weeks and I need to get out there too!

Do you know where to get an acceptable helmet without paying a fortune for it. Need to save the money for tires it seems

Actually I do..There is a place in North Indy right next to Cozzalino's Motorsports called Performance Driven. I got my full face RCI helmet there for either $125 or $150 I don't remember, but it fits really well and is really comfortable.

Those tires look good on your car, Bob! Much better than these M/T's with the belts hanging out of them. lol Bob

Hmm, that would indeed be cool to run tomorrow night. We've been having problems with Bob's fuel system, we went through two Magnafuel fuel pumps, new filters and new fuel line, today we put my Aeromotive Eliminator fuel pump from my Camaro on the V and we may have the problem solved. If the car can run 100 miles tomorrow without the fuel pressure dropping, I'd be in for tomorrow night!
