Default Which Transmission Mount is better UUC or CS

Which transmission mount is better and why? I plan on changing mine b/c of the 1st and R
"sometimes hard to get in gear" problem even after changing all shifter bushings.

I'm leaning toward CS b/c they have great customer service, products I have bought are great and they give military discount

thanks in advance!!

I've heard a few issues with those that bought the UUC trans mount...i believe because it was too tall. I haven't heard complaints with the CS.

I just installed the cs trans unit and it is tall compared to stock but do like the improved shifting results so far.

I didn't install my mounts, but driving the car before/after them, they are a phenominal product.

I've been very happy with them so far!

I believe the CS trans mount appears taller when compared to a worn, sagging OEM mount. I've seen a couple photos online of a new stock mount next to a CS and they appeared to be the same height.

Did anyone get away with installing their CS mount without unbolting the exhaust? Aside from that, it's supposed to be pretty quick n easy, right?

I installed the CS without unbolting the exhaust, but it did require some maneuvering of the crossmember. I have seen/heard of the UUC trans mounts bolts coming un-done from within the mount.

Did mine last night on a lift. My setup is stock piping with muffler delete and a Spintech X-Pipe. I was able to let the whole entire piping hang off the stock cats. Had to remove the small little brace before the X-Pipe and had enough flex to move the trans mount brace over to remove the old mount and replace with the CS mount.

If you still have stock exhausts on, you'll probably want to have something hold those in place as that might be too much weight to flex.

I installed it without unbolting my exhaust. I have stock minus the mufflers. The old one came out easy but the new one took some tricky maneuvering. Overall CS is the best company I've dealt with in a long time.

My exhaust is factory minus mufflers too, but I really don't know if I'm comfortable undoing the hangars and just letting all that hang... Eeek!!

I have no hesitations with CS either. Dealt with Max for my motor mounts and it was superb.

Don't worry about it! I let mine hang the whole time I was changing the front diff bushing & while I was doing the trans mount (separate occasions).

Hmmm. I'll take that into consideration. I'll see how tough the bolts are to disconnect. If they dont wanna budge too easily, I'll let it hang from the back.

Here's a pic of UUC's trans mount next to OEM. The first turd UUC mount I bought off them, the bolts turned in the polyurethane. Luke sent me a new one and I haven't had trouble with it...yet.

After that and having to replace their engine mounts for the 2nd time I say **** UUC. Go with CS.
