F & R CTS Coilovers (true coilovers)
Came across these coilovers for cts/cts-v check out the rear. True coilovers for under $1000. Can it be true?

I looked at D2 and Ksport
I could not find any V owner (months ago) that went to open track events with Ksport/D2
I THINK these are more a lowering option vs an open track coilover solution
I might be wrong...

Made by D2. $930 on ebay.
What would "helper springs" have to do with ride quality?
I have both KW and D2 and here is my observation,
D2 Upper mounts are bad *** (KW uses stock upper rear mount leading to the dreaded KW klunk)
Easy to convert to full coilover rear with parts that come in kit
Single adjustable.
Allow a lower stance than KW.
Not as Beefy as KW (KW is more heavy duty for racing)
KW is 2 way adjustable and a better quality product (made in germany)
D2 is half the price as KW
I'm getting a little off topic here but what the hell,
After using both D2 and KW, in my opinion, if you are after performance with minimum lowering then
KW is by far the best coilover on the market. Go over an inch lower than stock and your on the bump
stops all the time.
If your after a low stance, D2 is the only way to go. Adjustable shock body as well as spring preload
allows you to put your car in the weeds and do it the right way. Smoother ride too cuz your not awalys
on the bump stops. And the price is half the KW but quality is still good.

Ive always had kw's on my other cars...about 6 sets. I was under the impression that the small helper spring on the kw's are what help the kw setups have a better ride quality. It acts like a buffer between the main spring and top mount. I also had a set of nex coilovers and h&r and regardless where i sat the height of them they rod like crap. If i put the kw's all the way to the bottom where they road on the bump stops they would ride like crap which i would expect but once raised a 1/8th inch off they road great. The others not so much regardless the height they were at. Neither the nex or h&r had helper springs. Just from my personal experience and im not saying anything bad about these ive never riden in a car with them. It was more of a question. I know tony has said his k sports ride great....if he says they ride better than stock im good with that....but i thought these were a different brand.

What is the "dreaded KW klunk"? That's the first I've ever heard of it. And since the KW rear shock mounts exactly the same as the stock rear shock, I'm assuming there's also a dreaded stock klunk?

D2 coilovers are great. i almost went with them when i bought my k-sports. i didn't go with D2 solely because the first ever coilover made by them would've gone to me as my buddy who does business with D2 reached out to the CEO and mentioned my requirement, and given all the insecurities there were with how we lowered our cars when i was in the market, i went with a proven product with nothing against D2.
i like how they look better than the k-sports to be perfectly honest, but i'm going on what, almost 3 years of riding less than 3 inches from the ground flawlessly? mind you i will add my front 2 tires are almost just as old and my rears turned 2 years around halloween.
flawless alignment + great suspension = best sled stance for a daily driver.
i don't track my car.

As far as KSport goes, D2 and KSport are exactly the same. (except for cosmetics of course) They are made by the same company with the same materials and in the same plant.

The KW is not the stock rear shock, jackass. Even if it's mounted the same, its not exactly the same. Go back to your gay *** cadillac site with all the other jimmy homosho's.
