Default Hotchkis Sways - Anything I Should Be Aware Of?

Hey,

I just celebrated my first grad school semester by purchasing the Hotchkis sway bar kit on Amazon. Read the manual--everything looks straightforward.

Did any of you have any problems installing the kit, and if so, what kind of hoops did you have to jump through? Did you have any alignment problems afterward, or wind up going back to one of your stock bars because you didn't like the way your car handled?

I'm lowered about 1.5" (see profile picture). Are you sure about that, Nikon?

Edit: yeah, you're absolutely right. Picked up a pair of C5 Z06 endlinks (GM #20822934). $45 including shipping.

You will have to use a reamer to fit the Z06 links in the sways.

I was on my cell couldn't see your signature...ya, have good set of drill bits and don't go to large when fitting the links..if I recall one member went slightly to and got noise because of it.

Yeah, I saw an old post by Rand49er that said I need a 15/32" bit to drill out the holes in the lower control arm, and that it's a PITA. Fortunately, I have a Milwaukee M18 and a fresh bit at the ready.

Wasn't hard at all to drill, just verify your bit with the stud on the new endlinks..I can't remember if I ended up using the 15/32 bit or something one step smaller.

just fyi, install the endlinks before you tighten down the bar on the frame, otherwise you won't be able to line up the holes.

Don't judge which side is up and which is down by the sticker.

I know some people have put them on upside down.
