Default OBX Headers...are they still holding up?

Just got my car back from the bodyshop to take care of a few dings/dents and the mod bug is biting me.

So, are the OBX headers still holding up? Any rust/leak issues cropping up?

Also, who has the best price on them now anyways?

Thanks

Does Obx sell a coated set? I am torn between coated pacesetters and OBX. I know there is a primary size difference but I am staying NA so not sure if its worth it?

The catted version looks to be about $700 shipped without O2 extensions and the resonated one is about $200 cheaper. I would spring on a good coating.

IMO the coating on the pacesetters is worthless cuz they don't do the inside. You ever notice how much condensation spits out the tailpipe at start-up.

Ever notice that there's no more condensation after the car's warmed up and driven?

Would you venture to say that the exhaust parts are > 212*F? Water would have a hard time staying in liquid form.

Granted - water is one of the primary outputs of a combustion reaction, and yes, it'll rot out over time, but again, how long are you going to keep the headers?

Really man? Slant eyes? You can't be a bit more civil than that?

Whoa....you know, I'm not the PC police, never have, and never will be, but I found this personally offensive.

All the words in the dictionary, this is best you can do?

You can knock them on quality control, cheap material, no warranty support, whatever, but you chose this route.

Stay classy bud.

Not arguing against them. Just that if your gonna pay more for them coated, might as well buy the non-coated and get them done inside/out.

OBX are stainless, pacesetters are not.

Depends on which cat-back..they should bolt up to corsa or factory. Magnaflow needs to be cut and welded.
