Default Whining/Whistling coming from rear wheel. NOT BRAKES

So I've noticed a slight whistling sound coming from the passenger side rear wheel over the past couple of weeks. I replaced the pads last night and to my disappointment they still had about 60% life left, but I went ahead and replaced them anyway.....Today around 75-80mph I noticed the sound came back. I'm thinking it may be wheel bearing?? I did the usual checks last night and I didn't find any of the usual suspects.....Any insight?? There's no looseness or grinding when the wheels are off the ground and it has only done this about 5-6 times but it doesn't sound like a grind from the rear.

I haven't really pushed it hard in corners but I haven't noticed much difference in feeling or sound. Although I beat on it pretty hard today pulling a hill with a few curves chasing an S2000.....On the straight at about 80 is when I heard it again....I sure was hoping that the brakes may have fixed it but that's not the case.

I sure hope not....I'm trying EVERY possible way to convince myself that it's something other than that.....I mean the thing is practically brand new. 135,000 BRAND NEW. If it is then I'm gonna rock it till it pops or dumps it's load on my garage floor. I'm really leaning toward the rear wheel bearing....Especially since they're only about $60

Sounds like a diff... Bearing noise will generally be louder with more load, so you can take some corners to verify that. Possibly a tire noise which you can verify by swapping two wheels

Changed the fluid recently? May not be the cause of the noise, but could be an indicator of rear-end life.
