Ok, I have been fighting this car since I bought it. I would just like to shut off the seat exit function and get the horn to honk when locked.


Now, the manual says car in neutral parking brake on turn key on but do not start, Check.

select driver 1 or 2 and it will display which driver. check.

Then press the tune/sel **** once to access the DIC personalization menu. This is where it falls apart because nothing F****ing happens.

Any help would be awesome!

The horn honk requires a TECH II fix I believe.

press the side most button. It will pop up and say your personalization name, press OK on the top right.

use the tune/sel **** to scroll down, and deselect this:



then, relax.

to adjust the horn on lock, i believe it's in "door lock options"

^^ What Radeon said. You have to press the main button, which I believe is under the volume **** to access that menu.

You sure that "driver door mod" didn't blow a fuse? If it seems to continue doing that, double check it. its under the rear seat (driver's side)

nvm, just realized it displayed driver 1 or 2, so it wouldn't be that. Let us know what you find out.

I didn't want to start another thread about this,but when I hit the feat prog button,it does nothing on my car.Is this menu locked somehow or something? I tried everything I read on the thread,the car didn't come w a manual.im stumped here and want to get into it,thanks.

Mine kicked my *** for a while and sometimes still shows out on me. I feel like the slow kid on the bus stops licking the window long enough to junk punch me, laugh and go back to window licking...... DAMN YOU CADDY ENGINEERS!

I tried that already like they said above,parking brake on,tried it with key ON and ACCY positions with no luck on either.

Whhhhaattt?? Our NAVI is SO awesome, easy to use, and using a dial to input an address is super fun. :hide:

lol,im not even going to worry about messing with this navigation,not worth my sanity.
The cars at the detailers for a couple days so I guess when I get it back ill try to figure it out.

JSNM, just google cts-v owners manual and you can download one like I did. Or you can go to helminc.com and buy all the manuals for our cars. I ordered the nav manual and I still will never use that thing. Garmin is so much better and easier. For me to go to a different state than I am currently in I have to find a POI and set that to make it change states. On the up side I did just replace all my buttons with new ones. Very easy.

The GPS is not awesome or anything but it works fine, I think it works just as easily as current acura system except it doesn't have the graphics package and limits some usage while driving is all. I use the gps daily to every other day.
