Default noob cam question.

i got 05 V, Stock everything except magnaflow catback and K&N CAI. Been looking at tsp 228r cam. Would I need to replace pushrods, springs and rockers? Or can i get away with just upgrading to dual springs?

Also thinking about getting ls2 timing chain ( might as well while its all apart)

What kind of gains can I expect with adding the cam to the rest of my stock motor?

I did a search, but really nothing is mentioned about just replacing the cam and keeping everything else stock.

I have the 228R cam, all my car has is cam, cat back and headers.. My car made 395rwhp dynojet numbers. Do pushrods, and your choice of valve springs but I would do the double valve springs
