Default Slotted only rotors?

Anyone have a preferred brand? I have a set of rotors and pads from rock auto on my car and theyre glazed to crap, I sanded it off and its back again, car squeaks everywhere. Looking for another trusted brand of rotor

Haven't mounted them yet but i picked up a set of MAP J hook slotted rotors.

Need to pick a new set of pads before spring. Right now using Racing brake et500 on the stock rotors. No complaints so will probably go with them.

As long as the rotors are true, sounds like a pad issue to me. What's pads do you have installed?

brand wise no clue, I ran the ceramics that came with the pads first then bought a semi metalic in hope of it not happening. Rears started too and I havent replaced the rotors yet, its frustrating/embarrassing.

No issues with Centric slotted rotors. I see RockAuto now carries them. You may find Stoptech branded ones but they're made by Centric.

Maybe you need the grease on the back of the pad?

tried it, on dice. Its a glazing issue, I think the cheap rotors are just made out of a crap grade metal

I am still for Hawk HPS pads. I use them on my Tahoe and boat trailer with no issues. I even used them in my fathers Escalade with Baer upgraded rotors. The only complaint i have is i have to wait 10-14 days for delivery...
