1. More color options (redline, Charcol gray outside/ gray inside)- most delayed anyway
2. Combined Xm/onstar antenna
3. Depending on manufacturing date, it may come with the reflash (reflash will be available at the dealers soon)
4. More dealer options (corsa/ crossdrilled rotors, wheels, FG2 suspension, etc)
5. 2005 will pay a gas guzzler tax (2004 model year did not)
No big changes other than that (unelss I forgot something).

4. The dealer installed options aren't 05 specific per se, and some probably won't be available until later in the year. The FG2 suspension is also dealer installed, and consists of 4 firmer shock absorbers, nothing more. They are stiffer (advantage on road courses) and although not designed to address wheel hop, early reports are reduced hop.
5. I have heard that the gas guzzler didn't apply to 04 since it's introductionw as mid-cycle.
The wheel hop has not been addressed in any way for 04 or 05.

You may still need the flash.. what date was your car built? What is the last digits of the VIN?

To:ctsvett The car was factory ordered Wednesday morning so I'm assuming it will be built sometime in the next 4-5 weeks and the flash will already be done. As soon as I get a VIN from the dealer, I'll check it out.

Reflash Update I'm still waiting for my V, but when I decoded the break point for the flash I found that ALL '05s and those '04s with a VIN ending higher than 181396 were supposed to be flashed at the factory. Then again, the flash was supposed to be at the dealers on May 27th and it's still not there.
