LSA supercharger on V1?
I have done a little searching and know they sell the adapter plates ect. Will the LSA blower even fit under the stock hood of a V1 with the adapter plates. Anyone know of a full write up of someone that has done it with a complete parts list?

It will not even come close to fitting under the stock hood with adapters, let alone without adapters. A guy just posted pics of his build on facebook and he had to cut 3 different holes in the hood (without adapters). There is no full write-up because it's only been done once or twice to my knowledge (but there are plenty of people who don't post on the internet about their projects). You would be a pioneer if you documented your build on here.

No, that is not my car.
A few things though....zl1 lid is taller (v2 guys often mill the top of the lid and sometimes drop the motor a tad lower.....also the HX lines com off the front of the ZL1, the V2 lid the lines come off the rear and the front of the lid is sloped....
Attached is a stock V2 lid.....

The intake will still hit regardless. I've been mocking up a hood with a cowl but I haven't gone full dedicated to it. Need more time. I've had my LSA blower for almost a year now. I should have a hood done hopefully by Christmas. That's if I get the time for finish the mold and lay fiber.

i was actually just researching this yesterday also, sucks to hear that even the Extreme Composites hood won't clear the snout.
it seems to me that a LSA blower setup can be done noticeably cheaper than the Maggie setup with roughly the same power results..... please correct me if i'm wrong. if so maybe the cost difference will be enough to cover a custom hood to be made. i personally think a hump like what you see on the late model 350Z (rather than a cowl) could look nice if done right.

We're seeing V2s pushing 700 no problem on stock blowers so I'm not really sure when it runs out of breath but I think it's safe to say it moves more air than the maggie.

From what I can tell the maggie doesn't have the capacity to easily produce more than say 550hp...it's too small to move more air than that.

a used LSA blower + lid + new coupler + adaptors = $1500-ish?
a Maggie setup runs close to $7k..... just doing some mental math it seems a LSA setup can be done between $4-5k?
if it'll safely produce 500rwhp on a V1 and save me $2k in the process....
awwww yeeeeahhhh!!!
