I wish LSA builds/installs were documented on here. Whenever i did an install, I shared whatever I learned with y'all and did a writeup. When you ask the guys on FB about their builds, most are dicks or they don't respond.

It's terrible now. We use to help each other try to go faster.. There is so much disinformation over there. They'll eventually all run into each other and part out all their cars.

Log on to facebook. In the search bar type "CTS-V1 vs the world" it is the largest active V1 resource. There is a files section with lots of writeups and info.
there is definitely a breakdown of LSA stuffs needed to do the v1....there are even links refering people back to LS1tech for lollygaggers clutch write up.

Brain started the CTS vs the world page back when he had a first gen. The V1 page is a off shoot of that. The format of Facebook does not lend itself to doing detailed right ups and getting good feedback. There are way more snarky replies and animated gifs then there is useful content. Facebook is much more about people seeking "Likes" for pictures of their cars than helping owners make mods.

I'll never understand why people would proclaim themselves peasants. You say your money, buy and turn wrenches and you make whatever car you have go faster. It must be a generational thing, since up until now there was never anything peasant about that.

"Peasantry" came from V2 guys, some have merely embraced their disdain. The format isnt the best....but its faster than forums.

Faster it is.

Don't want to ride a dead horse, but. Since we've been racing carriages, There is always someone with more horses that may look down on you.

The guy driving the Aventador is going to look down on the guy in AMG.

Support each other. Help each other go faster.

I have a lsa build thread on here ( well the start of one) The problem with helping others is, some times they need to help them self's along the process. I have had several pms on this website and facebook with questions about my build and have helped everyone that has asked me. But the one thing I can't stand is when someone pms me asking for a parts list because they are too lazy to figure it out them self's or put an effort in to finding the answer. That's the problem with the facebook page, everyone wants you too build their car for them just shy of you actually turning the wrenches. Just my 2 cents take it for what its worth. I have a actual detailed parts list I created with my spare time stickied to the top of the ctsv1 vs the world facebook page that hardly anyone referrers too and it gives you most of the parts needed for the swap and even the gm part numbers, I need to finish updating it but still.
