What is the time for V @1/4?
#2
12.80 @ 112mph is about the best time we've seen. 1/4 mile is NOT the V's game. Small rear tires, 4,000lb. curb weight and IRS will ensure that you're not going to run with modded Z's and TA's. Get on a road course and surprise a few Porsches, Vettes and M3's though.

Though the IRS could be seen as the weak link.... I believe with a little help from the general or let say some aussie's, these cars can be just as nasty as any f-body with a 12 bolt rear or a 9" ford.
A moderate launch will get you some nice numbers, but a few things need to be addressed, not much though, if 1/4 times is what you want.
However, these are awesome well rounded cars. They will keep more than a few cars behind it when in the turns and pull away in the straights....
I believe that 12.80 is the best we have seen though a few of the "heavily" moddified V'z dont run the 1320.... though one, Parkers, i believe, has beaten a new z06 by a car or so. (stock though nasty!!) And that car runs 12.2 or less...so you can do the math....
Anyways, one to watchout for if you happen to run into one and recognize it before it is to late!!!! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEee!!!!!

How are you guys dealing with the wheel hop issue. KARS stage 3 kit?

why? I uinderstand that the wheel hop issue is holding some back. But with a change of tires, maybe sticker max summer tires or DR'z, what is holding back the rear from sqauting and buggin its sweet *** the down the track.
Im new to IRS and not sure exactly where to look.
HMMM, how about the sef leveling rear shocks. Maybe these are not allowing the rear to sqaut since they level themselves back to stock ride hide. Maybe a combination shocks/springs with beefier trailing arms, a cars stage 3 kit, and good tires could help out with this puzzle?
anyone got any ideas?
