Need Help from you CTS-V guys... I'm a parts manager at Pontiac dealership, and a buddy of mine has a '05 CTS-V and wants me to order him new centercaps for his wheels. The catch is, he wants the black ones that come on the '06 Vs? I've ordered 2 different sets of them and both have been silver. The one's he wants are black with a silver Caddy crest on them. I've called ParTech and they cant help me at all.....I need a VIN to get the right part number. Would any of you that have a CTS-V that had this style of center cap (they have to have come stock on your car) mind PMing me your VIN so I can get ParTech to supply me the correct part number? Chuck@HPE can vouch for me if you have any reservations about giving a stranger your VIN. I would really appreciate the help because I'm pretty much out of options.....

My 06 is in transit and I really want to see how the black caps look. At first glance, I liked the silver caps better, but I saw some pics of the STS-V with the black caps and they looked great.
But my car has not arrived at the dealer yet, so I cant help you.

Well, when you get the car (if it is sometime soon) and you prefer the silver over the black, maybe we can arrange a swap? He has Black Chrome CCW(?) wheels so that's why he wants the dark center caps.

So, if it's an 06 CTS-V, it has black center caps? Is that just a change that they made from the 05s or is it like one wheel option gets them and another doesn't?

I just figured it out......The center caps he wants are from a STS-V, not a CTS-V. I looked at the pics of the cars on Cadillac.com and the STS-V has them. Damn, that was a clusterfook. Thanks everyone for your help.
