I have raced two! both times I pulled 2-3 cars on them but I'm not stock. Both had exhaust and no other mods. About a week ago I raced a new c6 Z06 and had my *** handed to me. He was not stock but I think I would have lost even if he was stock.

I raced a C6 Z06 on the interstate. We never got a side by side lineup, but I smoked him every time. He was in front of me...so I was obviously starting behind. We did about three or four bursts between blocks of traffic. Every time, I would pull around him, but not enough to safely pass. Finally, we got an opening and I pulled past him and steadily pulled away. He tried a couple of more times, all with the same results. Poor guy didn't know what that red Cadillac was...he just knows he didn't like it.
That was all motor for me, but I am FAR from stock.

I raced a C6 and we were neck and neck. It was a convertible though so I know those might weight a little bit more than a coupe. I don't know wether it was auto or manual either.

When I was trying to decide between the c6 and the V, I read in car and driver and moto trend than the V was a 13.4 and the c6 was a 13.3, so I went with the V cause it was just as fast but had a lot more to it.

I'm sure you already know this, but V's are not the easiest to launch so the 1/4 mile times are sometimes not as low as one would think considering the cars power and trap. I'm sure from a stop I would of lost but since we were on the freeway, we were neck and neck. I was just as surprised as he was. I pulled up next to him and gave him a thumbs up and he kind of shook his head "no", pointed to my car and returned the thumbs.
I've beaten a few stock LS2 GTO's also from a roll and stop.
I've only took my car to the track once. It is only a local small 1/8th mile. I got a shitty 2.3 60' foot. I don't remember the ET but I trapped 86 mph.

I don't doubt these cars are fast. I have a 2005 C6 M6 and a 2005 CTS-V, the Vette will kill the V off the line, but the V is comes on hard in 3 & 4th gear. I think the weight is the biggest difference. Horsepower should be about the same.
How bad did you beat the GTO's?
