Another Tire Question... but somewhat different. So I am thinking I am going to do the Vento's when I get my tax refund and quarter bonus at work. So I don't want to blow too much money on tires if I am going to go 19"s but the Dunlop M3's are wearing fast. There is a used set of Pirrelli's available for extremely cheap. They are the PZero Nero's with 7/32 left. Good rating on TireRack from what I can see but they are 245/40/18. I know the 40 is just the ratio of height to width. But will this cause any issue and history with these tires? Thanks all!

If you are lowered, I prefer the look of the smaller tire. I think 245/45 fills up the wheel well too much on a lowered V.

Enter the sizes into the 1010 tires calculator. It says that it would make your speedometer nearly 4% off and they recommend staying withing 3%. It would also make the odometer mileage off.

Thanks that really helps. So in essence the car would think I was driving about 2.4 mph faster than I was actually going 60mph and really I would be adding a few more miles than I actually was driving. Which is really good to know. But if I only drove them until mid June early July It shouldn't be too bad. I guess my gas milage would improve unless I send the ECM back to Wait4me. 
Thanks for the help on the fitment and all. I wouldn't have even known where to find that. If anyone has any other ideas or reviews of the Pirelli's I will be checking back all day and I guess buying on Friday unless there are some negatives.

Bottom line: Go with the Hankooks Ventus V-12 and keep the overall diameter of each wheel/tire within 3% of 26.7 inches.
You did not specify the width of the wheels, as some guys run wide tires on narrow width wheels, which is not recommended. Always check tire/wheel Specifications. SPEC.
A wider wheel will pull the sidewall out with a wide tire to give you proper sidewall support and tread contact.
New = Safer in wet weather.

I plan on running the Hankooks when I get the new rims sent out. For now these would just be running on my stockers. I just want to get off the winter tires for the next two months and these are dirt cheap!
