Default Apparantly most dont know the difference between V1 and V2

Twice in the last week I've been asked (once at the gas station and once at a red light) if I had the 556hp version. I say no, it is a 2005, the 400hp version. Then they ALL say "wow man that thing looks brand new!"

I've been asked this a few times recently as well. I think it is due to the recent V2 commercials GM has been airing recently. I have seen them atleast a dozen times during the NBA playoffs.

I've actually been accused of not having a V because I didnt have the supercharged 556 V2.... I find it quite amusing how ignorant so-called car people can be

We had a company car show and a guy tried to convince me I had a supercharger under the engine cover and didn’t know it.

I've been asked if it's "the supercharged one". I then proceed to give them a quick block of instruction on the history of the Cadillac V series.

Same here....a guy up the road has a GTO, I stopped by to show off the V the other day and he and his dad came outside and preceded to say "that doesn't sound like a 556 hp car to me"....then the history lesson began....

Might as well. That would be a more apples-to-apples comparison anyway, considering that the factory rates them at the flywheel.
