I have been using the Neo ProLink PODGMXMV2 for a few years and it works pretty well.

Do your ipod or iphone (what ever you use) sound any better than FM or XM channels?

Yes, because its directly connected. As if you had an Aux cable.

yes i found it on amazon maketplace... i installed it and i love it.. it sounds awesome and it controls it directly through the stereo.. and i have th ipone4 and it works with it also.. the install was a pain.. had to pull the rear seats to get to the xm reciever, which is under the rear deck... that part wasnt fun lol... all i have left is to get it mounted in my center council to have it acsessible to me...

Can u control I from the phone as well as the head unit? Or just the head unit? You're using the iPhone 4? Does it charge when it's plugged in?

I have the usaspec unit. The hardest part was getting the rear decklid off (or off enough to wiggle my hand in there and jack it into the xm receiver). My god was that a pain in the ***.

The unit is fantastic though, much easier and safer than trying to navigate the ipod while driving. Its not the best if you have a TON of music. I have a 32gb 5g ipod filled and it makes it difficult to navigate to a specific artist without putting it into direct mode and just using the ipod to navigate.

yes it chargers the iphone 4 while pluged in. all the ipod control is dont by the head unit.. it works good. a little different to get used to but i love it on longer trips when xm is just repeating the same songs over and over...

you can control the phone but not the ipod when plugged in, unless you use the aux cable and plug it into the headpone jack, then you use it like you are listening through your headphones, then it will not charge unles you have a charger hooked up to it...
