Talking Well, what do you think??

Tell me what you think of this?

Yes it's a P-CHOP. Here is my rendering of my 5 lug swap that is in progress. I did the chop to show about what 19" corvette spyders would appear like just to see the look. I think it looks SICK!!

(Thanks to itsslow98 for the original pic)

Awesome photoshop, i wish the spokes were more straight instead of that slight curve. It would match the lines of the car a lot more. Have you thought about black C6 ZO6 wheels?

BTW here is the original pic to compare before and after. And deedub, if you wanna give me all your 5 lug stuff and wheels ill put them on my car for free and take any pics you want....only catch is i keep the supplies haha.

lol thanks!

I thought about the split 5 spokes, i think those are the c6 z06 wheels. They're not too bad but kinda bland to me plus i think the offsets wouldn't work...in their 19x10's the offsets were like +79 which is way to much. The spyders were +56 offset and the ZR1's are right on the money for V offsets (+40) but I'm still indecisive on them. I'll try to chop a pic of them and see.

So how is the 5lug swap going, I lost track of the other thread.
I remember reading there was a brake rotor issue.

I was also wondering if G8 hubs would work. Maybe GXP g8 rotors?

The c5 hubs will work with the camaro SS rotors but I need to have the SS rotors machined a bit as the center bore is too small. Once that is done, I just need wheels to fit

The 09 V wheels are 19x9 (51mm offset) and 19x9.5 (56mm Offset) with 5x120 bolt pattern.

The C5 pattern is 5x120.65 extremely close and from what I read on the corvette forums, they will work and many of the guys there have used either patterns on their C5/C6's without any problems. The offsets are pretty darn close too.

I've seen the black chrome 2010 CTS-V wheels and they do look amazing, but very expensive. Almost 2 G's just for the wheels as compared to half that price for the ZR1's or Spyders.

Hmmmmm....

I'm in love.....

What about the spyders in black chrome?? They would be heavy, but if we cared about that than we've already screwed up! Lol

Once your swap is all said and done, it'd be cool if you could do a little summary write up. And specifically what u had to do to get the spyders to fit, these have been my wheel of choice every since I head the words 5 lug swap and C5 hub on a cts-v.... Lol

I'm not into the all blacked out look (or murdered out as the kids say), but will say that (original pic) looks nice and do like the wheels. Not sure I would go thru the hassle (and possible downgrade of the brakes) of a 5-lug, but sure would be nice if they came with that, darn it! Makes wheel selection very slim and the nice ones (i.e. 3-piece) they furk your butt on the price! I wish the V2 wheels bolted onto ours...that would look cool, imo.
