Newb checking in
Hi everyone, new guy here to the group. Just picked up an 04 V yesterday, all black with K&N cold air intake, UUC shifter, and Z06 FRC's from the previous owner. Drive home was a blast, loving the car so far.
One quick question about the console arm rest...it is supposed to sit up higher, or go down all the way against the console. It feels like it would want to stop and a more natural hight, but as soon as I touch it, it goes down against the console, which seems low.
I'm sure I'll have more Q's, but that should hold me for now.

Yes, it is supposed to sit higher. This is specific to the V. Many have ordered the regular CTS arm rest. It sits lower and opens so you can store stuff.

Seriously? Those things are SOOO played out! Since your new here, I'll let you in on what's hot. EVERYONE is switching back to the big silver Cadillac plastic cover!
To save you from being "uncool" I'll go ahead and ship you my big flying saucer, and you can send me over those Z06 FRC's and we won't tell anyone you were rockin' 'em
Welcome to the party!

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Seems like a new armrest will be in my future. And I'll have to do mods to offset the 50 HP loss
Oh, and meaty, he gave me the silver cover too, but I think I'll keep the Z06 FRCs for now. I like being old school

I dig those fuel rail covers!
I also dig a PO that keeps all the stock stuff and gives it to the next owner.
