Default Creative steel motor mounts? Black or grey?

Which ones are the best ones to get? I know the UUC's have issues with falling apart and I know CS makes a couple different options but i don't know the difference. I have found a set of the black CS motor mounts brand new in box local for $180. They have the little heat shield guards too. Good price? Are the black ones the good ones?

I didn't think CS offered the grey ones anymore...

Hmm... Maybe you're right. I was under the impression that the grey ones were the newer style but I may just be misinformed.

Looks like there is only one option for trans mount as well. I'll prob order that along with the rear diff bushing.

What is the rear diff block bushing or whatever? Is that needed as well?

Are the CS shifter bushings as good as the UUC shifter bushings? I need all bushings and mounts on my car. Just wanna get the best ones the first time. I suppose I'll buy the motor mounts I found since it looks like I'll save $60.

My CS mounts fell apart. I just received replacement mounts from them.

Great customer service.

Oh and $180 for the mounts is a good deal, but I would not do the grey ones, they stopped making them for a reason.

The mounts are fantastic, have had them in for a few weeks now.

I bought their bushings for the shifter, too, but have yet to install them and do not know what the difference would be like between them and UUC's. I can only imagine they'd be as good as the motor mounts?

That's a good deal at $180

Ok cool. Jumping on the black mounts for the $180 then! Also picking up some red corvette FRC's already cut for the V from him as well and possibly a set of NEW IN BOX Kooks 1-3/4 headers with high-flow catted connector pipes, o2 extensions and red spark plug wire socks for a pretty sweet combo price!

Are the 1-3/4 kooks plenty for this car? I was initially looking at ordering the 1-7/8 OBX setup with catted connectors but since im buying multiple things from this guy, he's cutting me a good deal on all of it together.

What do you guys think? 1-3/4's plenty big enough on the headers?

Wasn't going to disclose this but the price he has given me is $1000 for everything including the brand new CS motor mounts, brand new Kooks LT's and everything with them and the red FRC's! I already told him yes I'd do it and ill be picking them up tomorrow. Figured its a deal i shouldn't pass up!

if that price is real with kooks included (and connector pipes...) you would be dumb to not take it... that would make the kooks much closer to the price of OBX....

It's a legit deal. It's a private seller that bought everything for his own V but the car was then totaled so he's selling everything he has still new in box that didn't get installed.

I lucked out big time!!!
