Arrow Possibly Selling My Twin Turbo Set-Up-Feeler

This is a feeler thread to see if anyone might be seriously interested in buying my professionally fabricated twin turbo set up that I have on my V. I am considering doing a different set up and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in buying this setup before I start to hack it up. I would be willing to sell the kit complete, or just the hot parts, with or with out turbos. The choice is yours as I am flexible. If you are interested let me know what you might want and we can figure out a fair price. Keep in mind that this is a 1 off professionally built kit that cost me over $20k to fabricate. Seriously interested parties only!!!

Here is the link to the build thread [URL="http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/2004-2007-cadillac-cts-v-performance/175864-my-twin-turbo-408-almost-done.html"] This is not some STS turbo kit designed to bolt onto a stock car. It is a 1 off professionally built twin turbo set up. The "kit" would not include any fuel system components. It would include a set of 312 stainless headers, a set of 38mm Tial wastegates, a set of Precision 62mm ceramic ball bearing turbos with billet wheels,Turbo Wurx oil pump, Turbonetics Godzilla blow off valve, front mount intercooler, all duct work, dump tubes and all t-bolt and v band clamps. The "kit is capable of making well over 1000hp. Keep in mind in order to make those numbers you would have to re-engineer the entire car, like I did. You could potentially bolt this up to a stock car but you would have to greatly limit the amount of boost you run. Now that all the R&D is done the system will bolt on with some minor modifications to a stock V.

I hope you also picked up the following part when buying the parts for that kit. Sounds like it was needed . . .

Soooo... what kind of ballpark are you talking? I figure you've got a rough number in mind.

parts and fabrication should have been 10k or under. Youll be looking at 5-6k max for the kit if you sell it now.

I hope everyone giving him **** on the fabrication price took the time to read through his build threads on caddy forums, it's amazing work. I read it from start to finish many times when I was building my setup.
Parts alone will be close to 10k, all that stainless isn't cheap, neither are the turbos, bov, turbo wurx oil pump, etc....

I think 5k is a fair price. For a complete, used custom kit without a manufacture warranty.

Just read the build thread, and GulfM3 is dead on. The "kit" is no joke, a lot of high quality part went into that. $20k for part and fab/install seems about right for a well done custom TT job in a car that barely has room for its V8...

OP, with the parts listed and all the goodies, since it will be essentially a bolt in "kit" (that some will need to dump a lot of money into the drive line for, haha)...if i where to buy it, I would offer some where are $5000 to $6000 for it. Since it is a used one off kit (as great as it is) the buyer may run in issues with it.

Edit: You may have better luck selling the entire car...then just the kit. Because what will keep most from buying this will be the need to do a complete driveline build up.

Is that how much you paid for your twin turbo set-up? What makes you such an authority on twin turbos and the cost to fabricate them anyway. Judging from the picture in your sig you have a POS nitrous kit on your car.

I love the car. I am considering doing another twin setup using the new oilless turbos. They will allow many different configurations.

They 2 turbos are $3000.00 alone. Get real!

I love the car. I have way to much work and money in it to ever sell it.

I went through ur whole thread on cadillacforums a whiel back. I agree just by seeing the pictures that it is a quality TT kit. Just by the quality of the stuff they make in house shows it was not cheap.

I just dont get why his wet shot in his sig makes his nitrous kit shitty
