Dyno'd my V tonight Was at the dyno with a friend and before we left for the night I asked if we could strap on my car for a baseline. They used a superflow dyno
My car:
2005 V
61,000 miles
K&N CAI
Magnaflow X Pipe
Magnaflow catback
I was running 87 octane. It was a nice cool night with good air.
My first pull was 367rwhp (not sure of the torque)
Second pull was 374rwhp and 341? torque.
This was on a stock tune and running fat around 13.0:1 AFR. The tuner thinks I have maybe 10-15hp with good gas and a tune. I have the graphs of my runs, and the program to open them but apparently my operating systems wont play nice with the program. It was done with windyn on a box running windows 98. If someone thinks they can open it for me I can try to send all the files your way. I'd love to get my graph printed! The hp and torque curves looked real good

I'm actually in NY now. I put 87 in the car because I only planned on doing interstate cruising the whole time while im visiting family.
Just so happened to meet up with a friend and went to the dyno!
I averaged 26mpg on the way up, all highway. Is this normal?? Much better than I expected!

That just seems unreal to me. If he thinks you can get 15 more horses with a tune just think about that. 390 with just a tune, CAI, X Pipe, catback from a LS6. Those seem like the numbers you would get after LT headers and these mods

although the car did come with a wait4me tuned pcm, I was told that the stock computer was put back in the car at some point for some dealer warranty work. I have the other pcm in my office. We didn't hook up any EFILive or LS1Edit to the car so I guess theres no way to verify it.
I thought I read on the forums that these cars after CAI, headers, full exhaust and a tune would get about 380 so I was pretty surprised!

Great numbers!!!
I've always wanted to do a dyno but just seeing youtube dyno accident vids is veering me away from doing it. LOL
My mods:
K&N intake
Crosspipes
Deleted mufflers
I avg 28 mpg hwy going 65 but when I go 70-75 I get 26. LOL City I get 18 mpg
Once again great numbers!!

Not sure about that. I run 89, which is mid-grade here, about 90% of the time. I usually get my gas around home at a station that still sells gas that has NO ethanol. People can say what they want but I KNOW that my car runs better on 89 octane of that gas than it does on 92-93 of the 10% ethanol gas. I have gotten 87 a few times and she SHO DON'T LIKE IT.

What would be different about a Canadian car?
Switch your units of measure over while you're driving one day; you'll be amazed. If you're going 63 mph and switch it over to km/h, the needle will just jump up to 100. The guages are exactly the same whether KM/h or MpH, it's just the needle that adjusts.
Everyone's talking like he's blowing their minds with his numbers... Couldn't/wouldn't the higher-than-average numbers be attributed to the dyno itself? They all read differently, right? Dyno numbers don't mean jack unless you're comparing runs off of the exact same dyno machine.
