New Revshift blue motor mounts and Magnaflow High Flow cats. Hopefully will get them in the next 2-3 weeks so that I can install before Nashville Cars n Coffee next month.

Excited!

Bolt on version from Mandrel Exhausts. Hopefully won't have too many issues mounting them to stock manifolds and Magnaflow catback.

No wish to move to headers.

Just installed them. Make sure they send the correct bolts and gasket. The bolts they sent me were too short and the gasket needed to be opened up a little to fit over the manifold studs. The fit was pretty good, just needed to tighten up one side then persuade the other to line up and seal.

Any codes thrown for O2's, or did you have the rears deleted via tune?

There should be no codes thrown unless your O2 sensors are bad, those cats have pre and post O2 bungs, you should only need to turn off your post O2's if you aren't running any.

Did you have cats installed before you added the high flows? Or did you go from cat-less to high flows?

Just got them both today!

Just ordered...-photo-2.jpg
Just ordered...-photo-1.jpg

Hopefully will get to install this weekend. I wanted to get a few exhaust comparisons during the install:
  1. Stock manifolds with stock cats and Magnaflow catback
  2. Stock manifolds, stock cats and no catback
  3. Stock manifolds, highflow cats and no catback
  4. Stock manifolds, high flow cats and Magnaflow catback
Also can't wait to get rid of the **** stock engine mounts. Only 45k miles on them, but they have been shot for at least the past 6k miles.

Took today off so that I could install everything. Got stuck on two bolts on the drivers side cat and 1 bolt on drivers side mount. Not enough $$$ for an impact gun, so I have a friend who has lent me his. Next Saturday is the next day to tackle this. I hate waiting!

I would caution against using the impact on exhaust bolts. Get MAP gas and heat it up as much as you can then loosen it by hand. The impact is likely to just snap the bolts/studs.

I'm very interested to see how this turns out. I've been eyeballing those HF cars with my Magnaflow cat back for awhile but U wanted to see what they did to the sound, seat of the pants feel, and the possible O2 code has also been concerning me.

Emission testing here and they hook the computer up plus sniff.. I need all the emission parts working.

Same here Steve. I will be doing this either Saturday or Sunday, and will take a few sound clips of before and after. As well as post up post-100 miles review and emissions results.

So I got the RevShift blue (80a) motor mounts installed this afternoon. Worked on the cats for 2.5 hours before finally giving up on stripped bolts.

Original Motor Mounts after 45k miles:

Going to a friends shop on Tuesday night to get the rounded bolts for the cats removed and high-flows installed. Sorry for the delay to those waiting, as I am very anxious about hearing the change in exhaust tone as well.

Sorry for the delay with this. I was sick all last week and have time scheduled for tomorrow after 4pm to have them installed by a friend with a lift. Damn bolts are stuck as hell on the stock cats. Been using PB blaster everyday for the past few days, so hopefully we can get them off tomorrow and see how they perform.
