Default Dyno results LS6 V1

Recently purchased my LS6 V1 last April, and after throwing a Volant cai and PatrickG EFI live tune.. We put her on the dyno. Came out with 371hp and 362tq.. Car has Volant intake, EFI live tune and muffler/resonator delete w/ 2 new cats on the stock cast manifolds. After doing some research, these numbers seem a little high.. Even for a dynojet. I'm starting to wonder if the car has a cam? Just looking for some input on what you guys think. Thanks

Here is a link to my dyno vid:

New stock cats or high flow? 371 sounds kinda high for stock headers, stock cats, but I haven't seen every dyno there is. Obviously you have a very strong tune.

I made 363/363 on whatever RPM uses with K&N/Kooks with cats/Catback untuned.

Neither, they're just regular dynomax cats. There super small though, about half the size/weight of the stockers. Ill post a pic of the dyno sheet once i upload it onto photobucket

I dont have an exhaust though.. I just have the mufflers deleted and 185,000kms on the car.. Just seems a little high for a stock engine/cam

Could also be because the graph is on STD correction instead of SAE. That will slightly inflate numbers as well. Either way, strong numbers for a 1st Gen V. Congrats!

who knows about dyno numbers every dyno is different, especially one brand vs. another. My ls2 dyno'd 353/358 was slightly lean on the top end so sent it back in for a retune, no dyno since then. Feels about the same. My trap speed is higher than others with high hp numbers. I think the track is where you see true hp.

Thanks for the input guys, and yea every dyno is different.. I was just curious because i was looking up ls6 dyno #'s on the same style dynojet as this one, but all the numbers were a bit low.. Which is odd because these things usually read a little high

Yeah. Numbers seem high, IMO.
Trap will show what you really make, in comparison to curb weight.

Those are some solid numbers, I'm hoping to reach 500+ with a Maggie, cam and headers.

Yeah this.

After headers and a tune, I did 350 rwhp SAE corrected. Do the maggie, cam, headers, tune, etc ... you will love it.
